Amy Bodel

Quality Practices Consultant

Hi, I’m Amy. I have been an Active Kids team member since 2009.

I have worked as an Educator across all age groups and managed our MtGravatt service for ten years before joining our Snr. Management team in 2020.

As Quality Practice Consultant and Supporting Educational Leader, I am responsible for the ongoing improvement of Programming and Pedagogical Practice within our services; and providing Educational Leaders, Educators and ECT’s tailored guidance, mentoring and training opportunities that best support and build on their existing skill sets.

I consider myself a ‘Lifelong Learner.’ I strive to keep abreast of the ever updating industry standards and Early Years Education requirements by attending regular professional development sessions. I enjoy mentoring Educators and sharing new information with our Teams to achieve best practice outcomes for all children in our care. My role enables me to support each of our services with a process of ‘Intensive support’ where we critically reflect upon current practice and collaborate with our teams of Industry Professionals to ensure ongoing improvement.

I value the hard work and dedication that each team member contributes to our company and look forward to opportunities that enable me to support Educators and Teachers throughout the varying stages of their Early Childhood Careers.

I truly love my job and am a very passionate and proud Early Childhood Educator.
